Key points for protection and maintenance of electric cleaning vehicle motors
1、 Motor wiring: The four outgoing cables of the motor are marked as follows: A1- the first end of the armature winding, A2- the end of the armature winding, D1 (D3) - the first end of the series excitation winding, D2 (D4) - the end of the series excitation winding. D2 is connected to A1, and a voltage is applied between D1 and A2 to rotate the motor. If you want to switch back to any group of D1, D2, or A1, A2, it can be achieved.
2、 There are four inspection windows at the commutator end of the electric motor for observing and protecting the commutator of the sanitation vehicle, as well as for changing the electric brush.
3、 The minimum allowable insulation resistance of the motor is (250V megohmmeter): Ω for motors below 45V and 1 M Ω for motors between 45-100V.
4、 If necessary, the small grooves between the commutator blades and the surface of the commutator should be cleaned with carbon powder.
5、 The motor does not allow high-speed idle starting.
6、 Open the blinds on schedule to check if the reversing part and brushes are functioning properly.
Common faults and maintenance methods in the circuit of electric cleaning vehicles
1、 Design a fuse for each circuit on the sanitation vehicle. When a certain part of the electrical equipment malfunctions, the first thing to check is if the fuse in this circuit is open. If there is an open circuit, a fuse of the same model can be replaced.
2、 The circuit fuse box of the garbage truck is usually located at the bottom left of the dashboard or inside the seat frame, making it convenient for inspection and maintenance.
3、 The method of replacing the fuse of the garbage truck: unscrew the installation bolts of the fuse box housing and remove the housing; Unplug the burnt fuse insert and open the fuse card; Wrap a backup fuse wrapped around the insert from the beginning to restore the card; Insert the plug into its original position and install it firmly; Cover the housing and tighten the bolts.
