5、 Maintenance of the shift control part of electric garbage removal vehicles
1) When shifting gears, the diffuser pedal must be pressed in place;
2) The diffuser needs to be adjusted frequently, and the free stroke of the diffuser pedal is 20-30mm (the gap between the release bearing and the release grease is 3-4 mm). There are two adjustments to the free stroke: one is the adjustment nut at the connection between the cable and the release fork shaft. The other part is the adjusting nut located below the pedal bracket;
3) After a period of running in, the shift cable of a new sanitation vehicle experiences elongation. When adjusting, place the transmission control lever in the neutral position, loosen the lock nut of the transmission end flexible shaft joint, and adjust the length. Simultaneously place the transmission selector shaft arm and shift shaft arm in the middle position. When shifting gears, the control handle must be pushed to the correct position, otherwise it will cause the matching gears to not fully engage.
