How to determine the container size and crane size of the truck mounted crane?
In general, 4*2 crane trucks are equipped with small and medium-sized on-board cranes as standard, and the crane tonnage is also controlled at 8 tons or less. Due to the influence of installation space of various crane tonnage, the actual size of cargo boxes installed by different cranes on the same chassis also varies.
The models suitable for 2 tons and 3.2 tons are both small trucks or light trucks, and the length of the cargo box can reach about 3.5 meters. Dongfeng Furika and Dongfeng Dolika can be used for truck mounted cranes.
Considering the large installation space required for cranes with a capacity of 4 tons, 5 tons, and 6.3 tons, a medium-sized chassis is also required. The cargo box can be made up of 4.3 meters/4.5 meters/4.8 meters. Overall, the length of the cargo box for single bridge truck mounted cranes with a capacity of 5 tons or 6.3 tons is generally 6.1 meters.
6 * 2 or 6 * 4 models generally come standard with 5 ton, 6.3 ton, 8 ton, 10 ton, and 12 ton on-board cranes. Due to the longer wheelbase of their models, the shortest cargo box can reach 7.2 meters and the longest can reach 8.5 meters. If there are special needs, longer containers can also be customized.
The 8 * 4 model comes standard with 10 ton, 12 ton, 14 ton, and 16 ton on-board cranes, and the length of the cargo box can reach 7.7 meters and 8.5 meters.
