Misunderstandings easily existed in chassis maintenance of compressed Garbage truck

Myth 1: More oil is better than less oil
The oil in the crankcase cannot be added too much or too little. Excessive oil will increase the rotational resistance of the crank connecting rod mechanism and also increase the amount of oil splashed onto the cylinder wall. Excessive oil can lead to an increase in carbon deposition in the combustion chamber and a decrease in engine power, which can affect emissions. When checking or adding oil, car owners should add it according to the scale on the oil dipstick. The high oil level should not exceed the upper limit of the scale, and the low oil level should not be lower than the lower line of the scale. It is usually appropriate to add the oil level to the middle of the two scales.
Myth 2: Tire pressure should be higher than lower
Some car owners like to inflate their tires very high, believing that this can both overload and save fuel, which is incorrect. Excessive tire pressure can reduce tire contact with the ground, increase tire tread wear, and reduce the braking effect during braking, which can affect driving safety. Low tire pressure is also not good. In addition to affecting driving safety and braking effectiveness, low tire pressure can also accelerate tire shoulder wear and increase vehicle fuel consumption. When car owners use the air pump to inflate themselves, they should inflate according to the manufacturer's prescribed air pressure, and the tire pressure label is usually located on the vehicle body or fuel tank cap.
Mistake 3: Wheel screws should be tightened rather than loosened
The tightening torque of bolts in various parts of specialized vehicles is specified according to their diameter, pitch, and purpose. Bolts that do not meet the specified torque will become loose, and bolts that exceed the tightening torque will be stretched. Before tightening each component, it is necessary to first grasp the tightening torque of each bolt.
Myth 4: Better tighten the accessory belt than loosen it
Some car owners believe that increasing the tension of the accessory belt can improve the cooling effect of the compressor and the power generation of the generator, so they continuously increase the tension of the belt, but they are unaware that this approach is wrong. The accessory belt should maintain an appropriate degree of tension, as excessive belt tension can cause excessive bearing load, shorten the service life of components, and also cause belt breakage, which can affect the normal use of the vehicle.
