Solve the problem of low water pump pressure and water pump leakage in sprinkler trucks
1、 What should I do if the pressure of the sprinkler water pump is low?
1. The filter screen of the sprinkler pipeline is blocked, which may be due to the dirty water pool or too many impurities in the water pumped from the pool. The filter screen is blocked by debris. Simply remove and clean the filter screen to ensure smooth flow, and normal operation can be resumed.
2. When the impeller is worn and deformed, causing the sprinkler pump impeller to rotate normally but unable to enter and exit water normally, it is only necessary to replace the impeller with a new one.
3. The gap in the water pump seal caused insufficient pressure for air to enter the sprinkler pump. The solution is to carefully check whether there is any leakage of water from the gap in the working water pump.
4. There is no water in the water pump of the sprinkler, causing the mechanical seal inside the water pump to dry out without water. Simply replace the mechanical seal.
5. The insufficient power of the transmission shaft causes the impeller in the water pump to not reach the normal working speed, so increase the throttle.
2、 What should I do if the water pump of the sprinkler leaks?
1. If the pump casing is only slightly cracked, it can be bonded with epoxy resin. If the bearing seat hole is severely worn, it can be repaired using the inlay method. If there are pits, grooves or unusual grooves on the end face of the pump casing inlet chamber, it can be repaired by lathe turning. The pump is made of pig iron and welding is not effective. If the pump casing is severely cracked, the sprinkler pump must be replaced in a timely manner to avoid delaying the operation of the sprinkler truck.
2. The corrosion of the pump shaft can be filled out by hanging tin to fill the concave spots, and then the worn pump shaft can be repaired by chrome plating. The rotation of the bearing should be flexible and noise free.
3. The water seal should be replaced due to wear, aging, deformation or damage of the rubber water seal, weakened spring force of the water seal, or severe corrosion.
4. After the maintenance is completed, a test should be conducted. The specific method is to manually change the V-belt pulley without any signs of jamming. After blocking the water inlet of the pump casing, add water to the impeller operating room, and rotate the pump shaft inspection hole to ensure that there is no water leakage. If there are any signs of jamming or leakage, the cause should be identified and resolved.
In general, the pump of a sprinkler truck will not have significant problems, as this is an important working method for the sprinkler truck. The sprinkler truck manufacturer will strive to achieve optimal quality. However, when there is a related problem with the pump, it is sufficient to operate according to the above methods.
